14.5 Yr old Teen behavior issues

I am a mother of two boys that are 8 yrs apart but my oldest is starting to get uncontrollable. He rushes through things at home when it comes to chores. Refuses to do things correctly and I’m constantly having to go behind him and do it right. He gets wooped for the bullying and 15 min later acts like nothing is wrong. His behavior in school is even getting bad with the bullying and cussing teachers out. What do I do? Any advise???

Physical punishment of a teen would not be considered appropriate in the UK. Violence leads to violence and all that.

Was also going to be my question, I can see the OP hits her children and then wonders why they are angry and badly behaved.

There’s no constructive advice I can give to a parent who hits their children, other than to say we reap what we sow.

I've lived in the States for nearly 15yrs and I don't know anyone that 'whoops ' their kids.

Stop hitting him for a start. Try and work out what’s underlying the behaviour. Maybe your expectations are too high re chores etc.
