5 year old and friendships

Hi
Can anyone tell me if I should be concerned about my DD lack of interest in friendships?
She’s 5 and going into yr1 soon. She’s a bit shy and struggles a bit socially. I’ve asked her multiple times this summer if she’d like a friend to play and she says she doesn’t want anyone to come over or to meet in a park etc. Would just prefer to be with me or hang out with her older brother.
Should I arrange play dates for her regardless? Going against her saying no to me? I’m worried she’ll be left out and I know how girls in particular can be a bit cliquey. Her teachers last year said she plays ok. At parties she doesn’t get involved but they are full on so I can understand why.

If she finds social interaction difficult I would listen to her and not arrange anything in the holidays.
See how she is in Y1 as usually there are fewer opportunities for play during the day.
At parents’ evening you can ask about friendships and social skills. If needed school staff can then support or group intervention.
Some schools have buddy systems with Y6 children facilitating games or friendships.
