Nursery uniform joggers: black, grey or charcoal for September? Can anyone help me find inexpensive grey ones?

Ds is starting nursery this September in school that requires uniform. I’ve got everything apart from the joggers. They require black or grey bottoms.
Would you go for black, grey or charcoal?

I’d personally like to go for grey as ds is usually very colourful and nothing is black in his wardrobe but I’m struggling to find any. I’ve only found charcoal ones from TU that still look quite black to me. I don’t want to spend a lot either as it’s only 1 year, then it will be trousers for reception.

Does anyone know where to find grey joggers?

Ultimately, does it really matter and just get black as it’s easily available?

Also, what do you think of the charcoal, good compromise or just no?

Just to add- the uniform shop sells black jogging bottoms only but they are quite pricey for just one pair.

Seriously? Youre putting far too much thought into this. Just google 'jogging bottoms for kids'. Or were you hoping someone else would do that and present you with the filtered results?

Marks and Spencer’s

I'd opt for grey- less chance of white bits showing on them. Are u feeling anxious about nursery? Once he has the opportunity to interact with all the others and play he will love it. My friend was nervous, she showed me a picture of her son grinning from ear to ear covered in rice crispiesSmile made our day.

What colour is the jumper? I’d get the nearest tone to that for washing purposes.

dark grey or black as otherwise they will show the dirt

whatever you can get in a multipack which will probably be black or maybe black/dark grey.

If they are for nursery just go to Primark and buy 5 pairs of black jogging bottoms. No point spending a fortune on them.

No idea about grey specifically but I always bought my kids cheap joggers from Sainsbury's.

You’re overthinking this hugely, I promise it doesn’t matter if he wears grey, charcoal or black. Check all the usual places you can buy uniform/kids clothes, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Tesco etc. They usually have a range of basics like joggers. Failing that try somewhere like Sports Direct or even primark. If you can’t find grey, just get the black ones but not the expensive uniform shop ones.

It really doesn’t matter. Just get whatever colour is easiest to find.

This really doesn't matter 😆Just go and get a pack of joggers from Asda!
