4 year old 5 in January beds bigger car seat , she's in joie spin with isofix atm .I still want to keep her in 3 or 5 point harness instead of seatbelt for safety any ideas? She possibly around nearly 3 stone and average height.

Google search ‘extended rear facing car seats’ and you will find lots of options for your daughter to upgrade to which are safer than forward facing

As I understand it, a seatbelt is actually safer when forwards facing. (Extended rear facing is obviously also an option.) However, it's very hard to find decent information as the car seat world seems to be an echo chamber of repeated facts where no one seems to be able to provide the original source of the claim. We got a Joie Elevate for age 4+ but have had to replace it at just turned 8 which we hadn't envisaged. Eight year old is not even 130cm but has outgrown it; we didn't want her in a booster yet so have bought a bigger HBB. So my advice would be make sure it will do til they reach 135cm at least!
