Book recs for 6 year old boy

First chapter book set recommendations for a 6 year old, we’ve read the magic tree house series, which he loved! And he has independently read half of the Jill Tomlinson set, which he is not keen on. He also likes the Dogman books but we’re looking for something else….

There's a really quirky set of 3 books he's had our the library again and again - the shark headed bear thing, the moon faced ghoul thing and another I can't remember, but they're really funny.

The Jolly Rogers pirate series by Johnny Duddle

Fact books about animals, the body etc.

My 6 year old is obsessed with dogman but I wanted to get him into something different, he just got the first one of the "doughnut squad" books a few days ago and absolutely loves it. Would recommend!

My son loves Gordon the meanest goose.
