Being a b****!

So, how do I redeem myself here? Any advice welcome.
For background info- I'm 5 months postpartum, breadtfeeding and not sleeping as little one is awake multiple times in the night so very sleep deprived. My husband and I planned to visit his in-laws. I wasn't too keen on going but I thought I'd grin and bear it as we are only going for 5 days. During the 5 days my husband was going to go with his dad for the day to watch some motorbike racing so I'd be at his parents house with his mum and nan.
Basically before we went we had an argument- I didn't want to go, to drive, was tired and didn't think it was fair he got a day to himself (we have a 2yo too). Also said some not nice things about family dynamics. Now I am here it's really nice and I feel awful for the things I said.
Any idea on how I can make it right?? I can't take back words and feel like a b!

Just tell him you realise you were wrong during your fatigued rage and you are having a nice time. Add some compliments about his family and how they are making it nice.

We all rant sometimes.

What matters most is admitting when we’re wrong!

Apologise for the things you said when you were over tired. Tell him you are having a nice time now.

Don't dwell on it. And I think going forward, it's really important you start putting yourself first. It's important you communicate your needs better.

I wouldn't have liked the idea of that trip either. You are exhausted, sleep deprived, doing all the night wakes, being told to go to your in laws, have solo care of 2 babies, while he has a WHOLE DAY OFF? I remember those sleep deprived days, I would have hit the roof at the suggestion.

How come you’re having a nice time now? (Just curious because I like a happy ending ☺️)

Cut yourself some slack OP. It's totally understandable why it would feel like a massive effort at this point and why you wouldn't want to go.

I would apologise for what you said, but that you were exhausted and overwhelmed. Any decent husband would let it go.

appologise and hug it out if possible .
