Toddler still vomiting once daily after nine days of suspected virus

Hi, my 14-month-old son suddenly started vomiting last Thursday night. Throughout this entire time, he has never had a temperature or any other symptoms. For the first 4 to 5 days, he was very lethargic, low in energy, and vomiting twice a day. I have taken him to see a doctor a couple of times, and they all agree it is a viral bug.

Over the last couple of days, his energy and mood have improved and he is back to doing normal things. He is drinking well and eating, though not quite his usual amount. However, he is still vomiting once daily in the late evening. This doesn't seem to bother or annoy him, but it has now been 9 days, and I thought a viral bug would have passed by this stage. Has anyone had a similar experience with a lingering daily evening vomit with their child or have any advice?

What is he drinking at the moment?

my DS started vomiting as soon as we introduced cows milk. We thought virus af first too, gp was baffled, and we decided to cut the cows milk which solved it immediately. He drank goats milk from then on

He's drinking oat milk (dairy intolerant) and has been for the last four months. Nothing changed in his diet when the vomiting started
