What age did you let your little one start watching TV?

What age did you start to allow your lo to watch TV? And do you think it’s had a positive or negative effect?

My DD is coming up to 2.5 and hasn't watched TV yet. Ideally we would like to keep it that way until she has the concentration to watch a movie as a family so maybe 3.5 or so?

My kids are 5.5y, 2y and 2y (twins).

The only tv they watch is rugby when Scotland are playing or a family film afternoon during Christmas holidays (those 30 mins ones on bbc).

Theyre really great at playing independently and spend a lot of time outside in the garden. I have noticed, however, that if my eldest watches something eg at a friend’s house, she doesn’t want it to go off and gets quite upset afterwards.
