What age did you let your little one start watching TV?

What age did you start to allow your lo to watch TV? And do you think it’s had a positive or negative effect?

My DD is coming up to 2.5 and hasn't watched TV yet. Ideally we would like to keep it that way until she has the concentration to watch a movie as a family so maybe 3.5 or so?
