Hello, I’m looking to see if anyone’s baby has had this before and has any ideas what it is? It started about 4 weeks ago. It is only ever on his face.
A pharmacist said it’s from rubbing his face with food/drool. Another said it could be from pollen.
the doctor has told me to stop giving him cows milk (he didn’t suggest stopping his formula or milk in his food but I have decided to take this step as surely the only way to know if it’s a cows milk allergy is to not have any at all?) the doctor gave him piriton and epimax moisturer. That was on Monday this week but it’s not gone away. It looked a lot better yesterday but I will try to insert a photo of him this morning.
im honestly at my wits end, I can’t figure it out at all.
it doesn’t seem to bother him which is a god send of course, but I can’t figure out why it’s happening.
it’s not like a rash, and the skin doesn’t ever split. It’s like hundreds of little red dots, sometimes they are raised, sometimes they are flat.
it’s always central to his face.
no temp, not off food, sleeping fine, no issues with nappies.
he is 12 months today and it started about 4 weeks ago.
has anyone had this before and know what they think it could be?
