urgh I don’t know how to manage this.
I have a just turned 3 year old and a 15 month old and they fight all the time.
They will do it when I’m right there trying to mediate etc
they push hit throw. Youngest has started going to bite. Which I have stopped with a firm no and moving him away. but he has learnt all this from the older one.
Obviosuly sometimes they have a great time together - laughing etc.
I have tried - praising all the positive things and relationship they have all the time, they each have one on one time in the day (the youngest has least time), removing the fun whenever these happen but the oldest just follows me around wailing, I sometimes dont go straight and see if they figure it out and sometimes they do but sometimes it escalates, I gave 3 year old time out on a chair for the violant behaviour - didn’t work, I praised the baby and ignored him when he did it - he just carried on playing and “got what he wanted ie. Baby not bear him”, never blame the baby when I can’t do something etc literally tried every “trick”
are we just destined for this awful relationship from day dot??
