How old are your kids going to see the new Spiderman movie?

Ds is 4.5. Spidey obsessed loves spiderman

I did consider taking him to the new movie as I am a huge marvel fan myself ! But unsure if its too old and the inbetween bits where the story is building and characters are just talking (aka no action) may bore him

He has been to the cinema before twice this year but animated kids movies! So unsure if this is too much

It's a 12A, personally I wouldn't. Not only would it be too old in terms of action but the storyline is directly following on from the previous movie so he wouldn't have a clue what was going on other than it's spiderman!

Leave him with the animated spiderman series for a few years.

I think it would be too old. Not because there's anything wildly inappropriate in it but most of it would fly over a 4 year old's head.

No it's a 12a

As a huge marvel fan I'm surprised you'd even consider it. He will be bored out of his brain, fidgety given it's so long and have little understanding of the film plot because it's aimed at much older teens/adults.

I genuinely can't see any reason you'd contemplate taking him.

Thank you for this thread. I was considering taking my Spider-Man fan ds4 too. Now I won’t even mention it not a fan myself

no don't take a 4 yo to a 12a. it's a 12a because it's largely accepted it's suitable for around that kind of age. otherwise it would be a PG.

There's Minions and Paw Patrol on if you want a cinema trip

Thanks all I did think it may be a bit boring. He loves spiderman and we seen the advert on the other day and he mentioned it !

But yeah I did think he'd be bored by the time the snippets of action came
