My 8 month old absolutely hates loud or noisy places. She’s been like this pretty much from birth particularly baby sensory, parties etc.
I know they’re massively over stimulating but she barely looks up, always head down and cries a lot and absolutely never smiles or joins in. I can’t really get her to come out of it no matter what I do or how long we are there, so we do end up leaving early a lot of the time.
She’s also very sensitive to textures on her hands and feet but is fine with food.
Shes fine at home, the most smiley and engaging baby. Has hit all developmental milestones so far and knows her name.
Concerned more as she will be starting nursery in 2 months and worried it’ll all be very overwhelming for her 😢the babies crying and no familiar faces. She only really engages with us at home, rarely anyone new.
Anyone else have a baby similar that eventually come out of themselves a bit?
