My 5.5 year old isn't even close to being dry overnight. I'm not overly concerned about that, but what is driving me mad is dealing with the leaks in the middle of the night. We currently use ninjamas.
I restrict drinks before bed (but he often begs me for a drink after brushing his teeth so I let him have a mouthful or two), I take him for a wee at about 10pm when I go to bed, but he still often leaks - maybe once a week or so. This has gotten worse recently, I assume with his wees getting bigger?
Last night he had a wee before bed at 7.30. I took him for a wee at 10pm, and his nappy was half full so I put a fresh one on him. He then leaked at 2am. (I'm not convinced he actually wee'd at 10pm, he's a heavy sleeper and doesn't always wee when I lift him, but most of the time he does)
Im not rushing him to be dry overnight, I just want a nappy that will hold his wee!!
P.s. I've tried sizing up and we had more leaks. I also make sure his willy is pointing down.
