My 16 month old son his not really saying any words. He points, waves, shakes his head for no, knows exactly what he wants, understands instructions, remembers what things are and babbles but gogoggaga. He does brrrrrmm for car and 'ot' and blows when I drink my coffee.
Reading and comparing he should be saying around 15+ words by now..... should I be worried, or does he sound like he's on the right track just a bit lazy?

They are only looking for 50 words by the 2 year review which is a bit after their second birthday. A not even 1.5 year old has plenty of time to pick up words, it’s nothing to worry about.

I don’t think you should even think that he is “lazy”. That’s not nice.
