Clothes for babies with chunky thighs

My first baby was unusually long and skinny but my 2nd one is shorter and has chubby legs and thighs. I’m finding a lot of the leggings I had for my first don’t fit and a couple of summer rompers with gathering around the legs from M&S and Asda have left red marks on her thighs. Which brands does everyone find best for girls with chubby legs? I buy most of her clothes on Vinted so can be cheaper or more expensive ones.

Set the chunky thighs free! Don't hide them away! They sound beautiful (and the weather is warm).

all mine had squishy thighs as baby’s just stick to jersey stretchy as if your buying them a tad too big x

I love the chunky thighs and often just have get in a vest or nappy at home when it’s warm but will look for some rompers without the gathering around the thighs. Although dresses are cute I find they can get the way a bit at the trying to crawl stage which is where we are at. She has relatively short legs and arms so I find bigger sized stuff doesn’t work well.

I'd probably size up if you're between sizes, but it really depends on the brand. My daughter has very chunky legs and we've had good experiences with Little Gusto and a couple of M&S pieces. No digging in around the thighs, thankfully!

Uniqlo relaxed fit leggings are good. They've got little rompers and shorts with nice wide thighs as well.
