My daughter ( age 2 ) has chicken pox , today is the first day, throughout the day the spots have spread and have got significantly more uncomfortable for her. My poorly little girl, I’ve tried a good soak with oats in her bath, and calamine lotion. She is constantly
trying to itch the spots. Im just looking for advice to ease the itching? Thankyou

I used activated charcoal mixed with water to a paste spread on the spots and that really helped.

Great idea. I’ll see if I can order some on Amazon for tomorrow. Thankyou

Piriton syrup can help with itching.
Poxclin mousse and virasoothe are meant to be good to put on the spots. When dd had it she liked a cold damp cloth held against them

I’ve got some Piriton in the cupboard, I didn’t even think of trying that! I’ll give her a dose now and see if it can calm the itching. Thankyou for the ideas
