Has anybody’s nub theory been wrong?

at our 12 weeks scan baby had a boyish looking nub, so much so I’ve convinced myself baby is a boy now and pictured life with a little boy. We have our gender scan this week and even though I don’t have a preference of babies gender, I’ll be so happy either way - I kinda want to feel surprised whereas I feel like I’m just going to confirm it’s a boy now haha. Just wondering if anybody has any stories of nub theory being wrong for them so I can go into the scan feeling more ready for a suprise 😂

Sorry no, I paid for two private nub theory analysis based on my 12 week scan and both came back girl…and it was a girl. It’s not accurate and I guess it’s still 50/50 odds either way so could have both just been lucky.

Mine was!
I have two girls and I had a “nub theory expert” guess mine, she guessed boy. This woman was guessing hundreds correctly and I’d fully convinced myself our third and final was a boy.
Well, our third baby girl is due in September 😂 we had both private and NHS scans confirm girl.

I asked two separate nub theory groups about my second and they all said girl so I bought some girly clothes.
Turns out it was actually a boy 😊
I’ve seen them be correct a lot, but obviously it can definitely be wrong, so maybe don’t go buying lots of things until you get confirmation!

Both mine said boys and I have 2 girls!

Ah how strange! I guess if it was that accurate gender scans would be done from 12/13 weeks. Did your boy nubs look quite boyish? I’ll post mine here - I find out Saturday for sure! As I say, excited annd happy either way just wondering how accurate nub theory is!
