My DD asked for a play date with a friend from pre school, they’re about 4.5/5 years old. We’ve done play dates before usually on neutral ground or with other children. My DDs friend was there with her mum, the kid was saying she was hungry so we ordered some pizzas and they both had ice lollies after. I’m not sure if it was the pizza or lollies but there was a shift in the friend’s behaviour straight away. She went hyper immediately, grabbing and shaking her mum, grabbing my plants in the garden and then throwing the leaves, throwing the gravel over the lawn. Later on we found a horrible poo in the loo, no paper and no flush, my daughter said it was her friend which I believe as usually my daughter would have called me to ask for help and flushing. Then there was grabbing berries off a plate and I asked specifically not to eat them around the house and to eat in the garden and this was ignored. They’re little I understand this, but I was a bit shocked and but what to do in this situation when it’s not your child but it’s your house?
