She very rarely does a solid poo, they are usually very smelly and all over the nappy and often up her back as well. She does eat a lot of fruit, could that be the problem?

It could be the fructose, or it could be some other kind of food intolerance. Maybe you need to ask the doctor to refer you to a dietician?

So it's meant to be solid by now? She keeps getting awful nappy rash from it.

I'd expect it to be, yes, but I'm no expert.
Both my two have had a dairy intolerance which has led to runny poos and bad nappy rash caused by them. Off the dairy they were fine.

Ds very rarely has a solid poo (he's 14 months) and dd was the same. They both eat a lot of fruit and could easily crap for Britain. Dd's record was 7 poos in one day (after overdosing on cherries). Unless it's a sudden change it could well be normal for your dd.

you must feel like you're forever changing nappies!

Too right...and washing and drying them . The 7 poo day was while we were on holiday with friends, they still talk about it with awe.

my 15 month olds poos are fairly 'solid' unless she's teething or has a bug.but she doesnt drink any milk and doesnt eat loads of fruit.
