AIBU- holiday wardrobe

soozm127 · Today 20:52

I’m a single mum to 3 aged 19,17,17. Dad pays maintenance for the 17 year olds. I am taking all 3 on holiday and have bought some summer clothes for the younger 2. Eldest works and pays a nominal housekeeping amount. But tonight has lost it because I won’t buy him summer clothes for the holiday. I’m gobsmacked that he has been so offended by my refusal. Am I out of order?

Well it’s really not enough information.

on what you have said.

yes the reaction is ridiculous.

why would a 19 year old not have clothes they could use?

if holiday is paid for by you? Some adult discussion is required re this and your living arrangement and direction towards dad.

It does seem like more going on but no on what you have said you are not out of order.
