Help! Baby safety stair gates

Can anyone please suggest ideas for baby safety gates for these stairs? Ideally a no drill solution! Will the BabyDan Guard Me Auto Foldable Safety Gate (Retractable) work?

Probably not. We've got the same problem and just put the stairgate on the lounge door rather than at the bottom of the stairs.
