Scuttlebug for first birthday, and which version to choose?

Son’s first birthday shortly - scuttlebug?
I never had one with my first - are they worth it? He isn’t walking yet so won’t use right away - do I get the one for 12m or the xl version which says 2 years??

We love a scuttlebug, mine have both really enjoyed ours. I'd get the standard one for a 1st birthday.

Def worth it, we’ve had ours for 6+ years and it’s still used for all sorts of stuff! My two also liked the ride-on space hopper thing that Micro do. It can have wheels for scooting around on or you detach wheels and they can bounce it like a spacehopper. Also the Wheely Bug is used frequently even though both have outgrown it really.

We love ride-ons in our house!

Depends how tall they are? 1 of my DC outgrew the standard skuttle by 18 months but 95th percentile for height and had to get them the XL. Absolutely recommend

Last measured at 8m or so think was 92 percentile

My daughter started with the standard one at about 18 months and she is tall. She did eventually graduate to an XL one. She was a very late walker and was able to use the scuttlebug before she could walk.
