How can I clear blocked ducts while bottle feeding?

Hi,

I am bottle feeding my 3 week old - about 2 days after my breasts no longer hurt, my left hand one became very tender. I believe I have blocked milk ducts - some small parts of a clog and milk have come out on their own.

I can’t not wear a bra as it is swollen underneath the nipple so any friction absolutely hurts. How on earth do I clear this without breastfeeding? Have been doing the cold compress and ibruprofen already.
Currently no fever etc.
thanks

Are you ok expressing some milk? Easiest is to get in a hot shower and let things really soften up and relax. Then start massaging the breast until milk comes out of that duct.

Hot bath or shower and massage then hand express a little. Or use a wide tooth comb
Manual pump
