Term time nursery and the long summer break

I switched my 3 year old to term time only this year. She's 4 in October, so will start school in September 27.

I'm wondering how to deal with the long summer break this year, before a return to nursery. My older kids, year 1 and year 2 now, just went full time until school so didn't have to worry about this.

Childcare wise we are OK to cover between DH and I. But will she really struggle going back to nursery after a 6 week break? The nursery is year round, so I can send her for extra days if I want.

What would you do? Keep her off all the holidays, or send her for a few days or weeks to keep up the routine? She goes three days a week normally.

Keep her off. I think they need the break. We had lovely summers at that age same as we do now they’re at school. We did lots of days up broken up by a holiday or weekend away etc
Just went back in September and they were fine.

That's reassuring, I was worried that there would be a lot of upset at being back to nursery in September, and she goes in very happily now so I'm worried about rocking the boat!
