Panicking about DD10 eating

Hi All, I was hoping I could hear from people who have been through similar…over the last few weeks my 10 year old daughter has become worried about choking on food. This didn’t start from a choking incident but more a moment where it felt tricky. She has begun to take an incredibly long time to eat, is over chewing food and upon occasion spitting out foods like chicken etc after chewing. She has always been an amazing eater who would eat everything and anything but now I find mealtimes incredibly stressful and her food intake has decreased. Particularly concerning as she has ADHD and is super active so needs calories! Any support or advice would be hugely appreciated. I don’t want this becoming something even bigger. She’s tiny for her age and I’m scared this will make it even worse

No experience but might it be worth asking your GP about PANDA syndrome?
