I don’t know what I’m looking for posting this maybe just to get it off my chest. My lb is 22 months old and on and off for the last 2 months has had a horrible cough. It doesn’t affect him in the day it’s when he try’s to nap or goes to sleep at night. Is there anything I can try to help him out? The cough isn’t chesty, I’ve tried snuffle babe on chest and feet, humidifier in room, warm showers! I just feel so guilty for him and it’s awful to hear him coughing so much through the night.

Take him to the GP. Night cough can be a symptom of asthma. Is there any in his family?
