hi
after a disasterous holiday to majorca in may where we left after a day as the weather was horrific and it was heatwave in london, we are going to brave another holiday in august/september.

has anyone been on holiday already with little one(s)this year and it's been hot sunbathing, play in the sand, in the sea weather...?

if so WHERE did you go?? ds is 2 so we are looking for somehere with good kids entertainment and club also!! ideally no more than 4 hours flight!

hubs and i seem to be having the worst of luck past few years picking holiday destinations long and short haul and times to go....

we're expecting #2 end of november so would love to have a relaxing holiday before that does not involve staying warm and dry indoors!!

thanks
x

We stayed at the Rubimar Aparthotel in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote inApril - twas hot but windy which was great as ds 13 months didnt suffer too much. Its a fab hotel, and resort - cant recommend it enough. Although if your budget will stretch the Princess Yaiza also in Playa Blanca is fab - but was twice the price of the Rubimar

We went to Majorca (Puerto Pollensa) on 29 April for a week and the weather was fab! We spent lots of time on the beach and the DC (2 and 4) splashed around in the sea.

Came home on 6 May and we enjoyed another 2 lovely weeks here, so we have been VERY lucky I think.

janitor! would have stayed longer but with bad weather forecasted for another 10 days, there was nothing to do... no fun for anyone especially a 2 year old!

I stayed at Mojacar a few years ago, the kids enjoyed it, but no sandy beach, which the kids enjoy more than the pebbly/shingle type. Last summer, I stayed at an excellent place on the Costa Blanca in Spain, called Guardamar. 2 hours flight from the UK and the brilliant sandy beaches stretch for miles.

The website page for the property we stayed in, is on the link below :

Hope this helps.

Chris
