... or will I get spanked by MNHQ for not doing it in the sale section? It's a swap not a sale though [confused smiley]

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Flibbertyjibbet · 20/06/2008 23:54

Well I for one am curious to see what you want to swap!
The worst that can happen is that your thread gets pulled

sushistar · 20/06/2008 23:58

POst post! We're all agog.

Flibbertyjibbet · 21/06/2008 00:02

Cmon cmon cmon - the whole contents of my nappies/liners/wraps/training pants cupboard is on standby for imminent swapping

bet she's gone to bed now.

Darn! I was interested!

Does the contents of your nappy cupboard include some unwanted large size motherease wraps with poppers, flibbertyjibbit? That's what I want!

Flibbertyjibbet · 21/06/2008 00:10

Hmmmm
have you been noseying in my cupboard????
yes I have some of those but haven't started potty training ds2 yet - the nursery want to start on Mon. How soon do you want the wraps we could see how it goes next week?

sushistar · 21/06/2008 00:11

Oooh, really? Well, I could wait a week or two...
I'm guessing all my bits would be too small to swap with you though. Would the wraps be for sale?

sushistar · 21/06/2008 00:13

I'm going to bed but I'll check back on Sunday (away tomorrow)
Sleep well!

Flibbertyjibbet · 21/06/2008 00:18

I am going to list all my wraps and naps for sale in the mumsnet classifieds as soon as he doesn't need them anymore, so I can't see it mattering that we came across each other on someone else's thread?
Email me on legoates @ tiscali .co. uk then I'll have your email addy to let you know how he gets on.

Anglepoise · 21/06/2008 00:42

Ha ha - sorry ladies - I had to finish a very boring book.

I think I want to swap two or three large Motherease wraps for some medium sized ones

OP posts:
Flibbertyjibbet · 21/06/2008 13:56

That sounds about right for sushistar then!

I'll just hang on and list all mine when I'm sure we won't be needing them anymore.

Anglepoise · 21/06/2008 14:38

Ooh it does - I shouldn't have skim-read last night! They have poppers too.

OP posts:
4andnotout · 22/06/2008 15:14

I would be interested too

Anglepoise · 22/06/2008 16:02

In mine or Sushi's?

OP posts:
sushistar · 22/06/2008 17:07

Me me!! They're poppered ones? Two would suit me perferctly! My mediums are poppers too. ruthiewall at yahoo dot co dot uk.
I have a light blue asia print and a savannah print in excellent condition, and an old and faded pawprint one which works perfectly but the pattern's faded.

sushistar · 22/06/2008 17:08

What are the chances of that anglepoise! That we have exactly what the other wants!

Flibbertyjibbet · 22/06/2008 17:19

So is that all you wanted to swap, Anglepoise?
Nothing else that I might have a swap waiting for

Oh well wish us luck for pants day tomorrow ladies and lets hope that one of us gets to be nappy free this weeeeeeeeeeeeek

Anglepoise · 22/06/2008 17:24

Yay - will mail you Sushi

That's it for now I'm afraid - but bearing in mind this is my new favourite obsession I may have more in future (or my entire kit if DC arrives and I find it's a nightmare and want to swap the lot for a couple of boxes of chocolate!)

OP posts:
4andnotout · 22/06/2008 19:20

Flibberty: would be very interested in anything you have to sell when your ds is dry Will have a 13 m.o and a newborn in cloth come october

Flibbertyjibbet · 22/06/2008 23:48

4andnotout, send me your email addy to legoates @ tiscali . co. uk
I'll make a note of it and I'll give you first refusal before I list on here for sale.
I have plenty of stuff that would suit a 13mo and a smaller one from about 3mo. Up to then I used muslins (which then double up as bibs, wipes etc etc so cheaper than buying size one nappies which aren't in use long for bigger babies) - if you are anything like me and your 2nd baby is big you will end up with 2 in the same size nappies by new year 09.
you know when the real nappy sellers say 'cloth nappies work out more economical if you use them on 2 babies'. I always reply, 'no it bloody well doesn't if the first one's bum is still in them when no 2 arrives!!'

Nappyzoneneedsanewname · 23/06/2008 12:59
