My 11 month old had a really bad bout of tonsillitis a few weeks ago which came with a free gift of diarrhoea. Doctor advised this was due to the virus and sure enough it cleared up a few days after the virus did. His poos were normal for him for a few days after that but then diarrhoea came back and we’re now on day 6 of much looser than normal poos (but no longer completely water).
A few potential things that could be going on - he’s recently switched from mostly purées to 100% solids. He’s also started nursery recently so it could be a bug but hes absolutely fine otherwise, doesn’t seem to have any tummy pain, no crying, no loss of appetite.
Don’t know if it’s worth taking him to the GP or if they’ll just say it comes with weaning/the virus?
