Sleeping over, easy bedding?

Weird sleeping bag parenting question here that I perhaps should have put in shopping

often I take my two kids to my parents house or on a night at my brothers house or a quick sleep at a friends house en route to somewhere else. Often this involves providing own bedding so duvet, duvet cover, base sheet and pillow case and maybe pillow. It’s a lot of stuff for one night for the two kids. And effort prepping the beds when sometimes we are there barely 10 hours.

Is there an easy solution I’m missing? I know about sleeping bags but they seem so designed for camping outdoors and I’m not sure how the kids would feel zipped up. Is there a life hack here? Like, sleep
inside a duvet cover? Slice it open one side and sleep in it and therefore have base sheet and top sheet sorted, put a blanket on top? I’ve tried googling this and just get Go Outdoors links haha

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Try them with a sleeping bag at home, it’s the obvious solution.
Or maybe a cotton sleeping bag liner with a duvet?

My kids have the happy nappers sleeping bags for sleepover and they’re really good- it incorporates a pillow, they’re the right weight for sleeping in a normal temp house (not camping), can fold them up for easy carrying and are machine washable.

We always used sleeping bags. The kids loved them.
