They're dtwin boys nearly 5 and dd 31/2. It's a kids club showing of Enchanted. Dps idea but I'm quite excited(don't get out much these days).

So I've viewed the trailer should be ok shouldn't it, not too scary??

It's at a Vue cinema, how much do they charge these days for popcorn??? Do they sell anything vaguely cheap as snacks????Suspecting not, we're good at sharing but hope we won't all have to share 1 thing of popcorn as that would be a bit sad Would I be allowed to take the kids drink bottles with water in???

What exactly is a kids club????

yes it really does.
The people at our local cinema mostly try it on with the children who go in a group.
I am always outraged.
they have stopped asking to check my bags
But it is a huge f'ing cheek.

Did they enjoy it?

I took DS (5) today to our local one too - he LOVED it and wants the DVD now lol lol

It's on Sky box office, we're sitting down to watch this pm with our cheap sweets and snacks!!

If they find you have brought your own snacks in an attempt to pre-empt ripoff cinema snack-bar, do they they attempt to confiscate them?

TinkerbellesMum · 21/06/2008 18:06

There's no legal way they can search your bags, even if you are suspected of stealing they have to ask your permission or call the police. They'd have a row if they tried it with me! I tend to have bottles of pop under my coat anyway, bags are obvious

OverMyDeadBody · 21/06/2008 18:15

I always take my own snacks and drink for DS. I don't get them out till the film has started, by which time it's dark and who would notice anyway?

AbbeyA · 21/06/2008 18:31

I always took my own stuff so that we could bypass the kiosk. I have large handbags.
