Will my four year olds spider naevus go?

My four year old has a spider naevus on her cheek under her eye, it started as a red dot when she was 2ish I think and has become more red and prominent as she’s got bigger.

I took her to the GP who confirmed it is that and nothing to worry about, nothing they can do. Won’t consider anything else to treat like laser until she’s an adult and I wouldn’t put her through that at this age anyway, shes so young. So nothing else they can do.

Please be kind, I’m highly anxious in general about her starting school this year already, but is this something she could get teased about in primary school? She starts in September, she’s very aware of this mark and doesn’t like it and has got upset about it before. Going to the GP helped. I reassure her and I want her to be confident.

Do young children typically outgrow them or become less prominent as they get older?

I know it’s small in the big scheme of things as she is healthy and happy, but it breaks my heart that she is unhappy with it there and I can’t take it away from her. She’s quite a sensitive girl and I don’t want it to affect her confidence.

My son was born with one at the side of cheek and I was told it would probably disappear by 6. He's now 12 and still has it (sorry). However, he's not mentioned it once that I can remember, and not has anyone else.
It is a bit more to the side of his face, but still I would try not to be concerned.
My daughter was worried about being teased for her glasses but no one has said anything mean.
Even though the kids at their school constantly seem to say mean stuff to each other, it doesn't seem very appearance based.

I had completely forgotten but one of mine had one in a very similar place which was quite noticeable at 4/5 but looking back at photos had disappeared completely over the next 2-3 years.

Thank you both. I guess I have to see how it goes. Random how these things just appear
