Hello,

I hope you are well.

we would like to get our toddler (18 months) some wheels. I’m unsure which to get. All would need to be second hand.

I tired to post the links, but kept loosing the draft. As he’s already 18 months, would some not last long?

-Wheelie Bug
-Scuttle Bug
-Doona trike
-Plastic car you sit inside

I think they’re all pretty much the same and how long they’ll last might depend on how tall your toddler is? Smile

Do you both go to playgroup? Ours had things like this so it was easy to see which ones they preferred.

A balance bike! Once he gets the hang of it, he'll enjoy it until he's ready for pedals. 2nd hand is definitely the way to go.

Secondhand can be really good can’t it? DSIL got a scooter for £1 from ebay when DN was a little older Smile

Yeah, it's often in perfect condition, because often kids don't end up using them much (so hard to know in advance what they are going to love and what they are going to ignore!!) and even if they do love it, everything gets too small so quickly at that age!
