Has anyone noticed an uptick in chickenpox around lately? As I was told the months of March, April, and May are the most common.

Yep, it's been seasonal in the UK for a long time (apart from during the pandemic). Peaks in late March through to mid April, though with cases the rest of the year too. Chickenpox is often followed by scarlet fever season - chickenpox blisters help the strep bacteria that causes SF get into the body (we think). So first you get a chickenpox outbreak, then you might end up with scarlet fever on top a week later.
