Recommendation wanted - cabin bed with steps up and space underneath for sofa.

Morning all,

Can anyone recommend a solid, good quality cabin bed with stairs (a could have steps really) up to the mattress / bed bit and space underneath for a small sofa/ chair?

Storage would be an added bonus.

We are looking for something which is good quality and will see my children through to their more grown up beds. We don’t mind paying for quality but I can’t seem to be able to tell from online photos what is worth paying for and what isn’t.

Something like the beds in the photos is what I’m after…

I would get on eBay and look for a good solid brand like Stompa or Aspace. They are often being bought/sold with little wear as they get outgrown. If you want to buy new, Get Laid Beds are really solid and nicely made.

The things that tend to catch you out are having a good ladder with flat steps (you have to climb to change the sheets). And you have to have quite a high bed to be able to sit comfortably on the sofa part, without banging your head all the time AND the person in bed needs room to sit up too.
