I am starting a new job and I feel a bit guilty sending my son to nursery for two days. Is this normal to feel this way?

Yeah. Guilt is one of the main emotions that parenting brings unfortunately. It's love and guilt mainly. And frustration. And Joy. And being tired. And worry. And pride. And some more love.

I felt so guilty sending my son to nursery. I think I cried everyday the first week. He’s been there a year now and he absolutely loves it and has made some friends and it does get easier with time

Totally normal OP but also absolutely fine to send him. Congratulations on your new job.

@alwayslotsofquestions One more. The first time I dropped my son off at nursery I cried all the way to work. When I picked him up for the last time I cried all the way home. He had a fabulous time there and it was a lovely place.
