i’m a black aunt of a 5 year old who is white, he had a situation where he told another classmate (who is his friend) that brown people weren’t allowed at his house, this friend is also brown. principal and all got involved which as it should, but i really think he’s still not understanding the severity of what he said. i had a conversation with him and tried my best to let him understand the situation as he was talking to me like that. i even explained as far back as to when i was little and things like that still stuck to me. i just feel like he needs some books on bullying/race/being different in general that’ll possibly do slightly better job. even open to shows or just something that can help just a little better.

That must be so hard @kesarswet. I don’t know any books in particular. Will have a look and see if I can find anything.
