Anyone else feel intensely bored sometimes looking after a two-year-old?

Sometimes I get so bored looking after my 2 year old I feel like I'm going to explode.

Definitely not all the time! Sometimes I love it and it's wonderful.

But sometimes I'm so bored I fantasize about electrocuting myself! (A bit melodramatic, but I want to emphasise the point!)

My DD is not at nursery so I look after her every day apart from Saturday mornings which is my time off. Hopefully she'll start nursery in September.

I think the main issue is that I like to always be doing stuff or creating things but most of the time I have to be passive while my daughter does something.

Am I the only one who feels like this? Am I just a terrible mum?? 😭

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

no - and I relate to this completely - parenting young children is a bit relentless. 2 is a difficult age. I also got bored out of my mind sometimes.

i have wonderful memories of those days but still! And before people start coming along and telling you you’re an awful human - ignore, what you’re feeling is totally normal.
