Hi! My 7-year-old has a YES DAY coming up in a few days and I’d love some ideas 😊

We already do a lot of the usual fun things (blow up bed movie nights, forts, slime etc), so I’m looking for something a bit different or memorable.

She’s already chosen making ice cream šŸ¦

I don’t mind going wild!! If you’ve done a YES DAY before, what were the biggest hits? Or what would your child pick if they could have anything (within reason šŸ˜…)?

Try making ice cream using two plastic bags, ice and salt. It’s a nice science demo as well.

My DD10 loves a yes day! Big hits are:

  • she chooses what I wear
_ chooses what we have to eat all day
  • decides on the activities (within reason, no long day trips)
  • if it includes shopping then we pick each other and outfit to buy.

She's told me I'm getting a yes day soon from her šŸ˜…
