Potty

Hi,

I’m currently on day 3 of potty training my little boy who is almost 2.5years.

He is doing brilliantly and has done all his wees and poos on the potty for the 3 days and tells me when he needs to go.

However, when I put pants on him he has accidents and doesn’t bother to use the potty.

Any advice please? Third child and my older girls just potty trained in pants from day one with no issues.

We waited a month before adding pants for my son, he just wore trousers with no pants. They can feel a bit nappy-like and make it harder for them to remember to use the potty. We used the ‘oh crap! Potty training’ book method which was fantastic and suggested holding off on pants.
