Toddler obsessed with one parent

I'm really struggling with how to handle a recent change in our DD. She is almost 4 and is obsessed with Daddy to the point that she cries about him regularly throughout the day, when he's here he has to do every caregiving task, she's waking in the night crying for him to sleep in her bedroom etc

I'm the primary caregiver, DH leaves for work before we wake up and gets home around 6pm. He does bath time and story tine each evening.

I'm looking for advice on how to help DD. I'm not jealous and I understand children often have a preferred parent, but I'm struggling with how difficult basic things have become due to the anguish she seems to be in.

Is this a normal stage of parenting, or should I be concerned?

I’ve not experienced this growing up, my own children or grandchildren.
I’d be seeking professional help.
Possible ND as ND children dislike change.
4yr olds can be tricky personalities but I’d not wait to outgrow this.
