I'm just looking for opinions, or if it's a concern, as worries me. My son 16yrs has contact with his dad every other week Fri night to Sunday midday, dad's choice. His dad is up the pub from 3.30pm untill 10pm on the Sat, as well as the Friday after 6pm, with my son. This has been the case for years. My son is OK with it as his dad goes to the pub leaving him at his flat till he wants to join him. Been to family court multiple times when son Young, court always encourage contact with dad, have never opposed as his dad, but concerns remain. Obviously had issues but too much to put in writing. What would you do?

I’m not sure there’s anything you can do I’m afraid. He’s 16, he’s allowed to spend time with his dad, and if his dad wants to spend that at the pub, that’s up to him. Shit parenting

Thank you. I agree.

He’s 16 so it’s obviously up to him
