Norovirus 10 months old

Hi I need some advice please.

I had norovirus for 3 days a week ago, excessive diarrhea no vomiting and all recovered now.

10 month old baby started having diarrhoea the day after my symptoms stopped. At first I thought the yellowish poo was due to teething (stupid I know) but we are on day 6 now with diarrhoea. The first 3-4 days it was 3-5 times a day and the last 2 days it’s been 3 big explosions in a day. Otherwise he’s well in himself, no fever, drinks all his milk, no vomiting but a bit off food which I expected. What do I do, do I contact GP? When does it get better?

Writing at this time of the hour because there’s just been another big poo. It’s definitely norovirus and not just a normal stomach bug. The looks and smell is vile (sorry TMI).

Thank you in advance.

If he’s eating/drinking, well in himself, and having wet nappies I wouldn’t worry, maybe contact the GP if it’s not getting better by Monday

I wouldn’t worry over the weekend as he is deibking his milk, no signs of dehydration is happy and his symptoms are improving.

Have a read of the NHS advice on norovirus.
