DC5 has little spots on both cheeks towards the jawline/ears. They've been there for ages and I'm pretty sure they're milia. I also remember having similar when I was a child/tween so I'm guessing they're hereditary.

Wondering what I can do about them at this age? All the advice online seems to be for babies (leave it and it'll go) or adults. DC's has been there for about a year I think, and given I had it too I doubt it will just disappear. Currently I just wash her face in the bath (I put hydromol in the water and then just wash with a flannel) or wipe it with a water wipe.

Can I use a mild exfoliating liquid (glycolic acid/salicylic acid)? Or something else? She hates having creams on her face and I don't think she'd tolerate a foaming face wash or cream cleanser, but I reckon I could get away with a quick swipe with a cotton pad.

No, don’t put anything on these! Wash his face with plain water only and leave them alone.

To me that actually looks like a bit of mild eczema.

I would do nothing other than wash with a flannel if dirty and apply some eczema cream. I used Aquamax.

@mindutopia really? I hadn't thought so... Fyi the slight redness is from having just wiped with a water wipe (while she was wriggling to get away so probably more pressure than I'd usually use!).
