Playmat - Baby 6 months

Hi, just wondering if people would recommend getting a play mat for the floor now that my baby is over 6 months and is clearly trying to crawl about

Yes I got several thick large playmats and it's wonderful. Even now as a toddler, they have accidents all the time so playmat is a life saver. I live somewhere warm and have tiles everywhere though, might be less necessary if you're in the UK and have thick carpeting everywhere.

Playmat + big size play pen is the way to go.

I love totter and tumble

I have a mellow mat. It's pretty good but you can feel the hard floor through it. I think it'd be fine if it was on carpet though.
