Would you use Rapid Cool with no lights?

Title says it all really... I've got two second hand Rapid Cool flasks. They both work fine in that they cool the milk, but the lights in the lids no longer work at all. I'm second guessing everything I do right now, but would you continue using these? I'm just using judgement to know that I've left the hot formula in there long enough to cool.

Yes.

I had about 6 of the flasks and only 2 or three thermometer lids.

Once you are making your 11,000th bottle you get a feel for it.
I did always just test on back of hand to be safe.
The lid is just a thermometer...

I’ve never heard of these. I cooled bottles the old fashioned way (in a cold bowl of water) and always checked them. It’s easy to know if it’s too hot, just feel it.

I agree with pp once you've made a lot you just know when it's ready.
just check it before hand.

might be worth reaching out to them and they may send you a new one
