Kids party bags

Hi All!
My son will soon be having his 7th birthday party and am looking for cheap ideas for what to put in the party bags. The theme of the party will be trees/plants/leaves/cactus etc etc as he loves the garden. He can't wait to get to mow the grass, look after the plants and is always saving the seeds from his food so that he can plant them. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can put in the party bags based on this theme? TIA xx

My DGS (3) came back from a party the other week with some cheap sunglasses with cacti all over them. He absolutely loves them!

Sunglasses are a good shout – they can wear them in the garden, even if they aren't specifically a garden design.

If his friends have similar interests, some cheap, easy to grow seeds. Green party bags if you can't find ones with cacti/tree design. You can get wee sweetie cones that are a carrot design around Easter, so you could do those. Or else just green sweets? You might also be able to find stress balls or popper fidgets that are on theme.

You could bulk it out with party favours that aren't specifically plant-themed, but are green.

Packs of seeds. Sunflowers and other child friendly flowers.

Lego flowers, seeds, cress heads.

I'd avoid plastic tat if at all possible.

Cress seeds, so quick, hassle free. Even a non gardener would like them, dead easy to do cress heads.

Though I’d go to a garden centre or even large supermarket to get them. They’re probably £2-3 each. They look very cute and might even stay alive for a while, even if somewhat neglected.
