Is this ok?

Is it ok to let your child pee in the grass at the park?

This afternoon we were out on the common and I misjudged the timing of when I should have taken him to the loo. So when he told me he needed to go I took off his trousers, pants and let him go where we were.

Is this acceptable?

yes. You could hardly tell him to pee in his pants.

If you think about it, dogs pee on the grass at the park all the time, far more yucky than little boys pee.

This is true - I hadn't thought of that.

It's the first time he peed standing up and was most interested in the flow so he kept stepping in it - most yucky.
