What’s it like going from 2 to 3 children?

I currently have a 5 year old and 2.5 year old. I’m not pregnant but we are considering by the end of the year if it all goes to plan. Both children will then be nearly 7 and 3.5 years. I’m just curious as to other people’s experiences going from 2 to 3?
it can be overwhelming some days now which does make me 50/50 but I know the Children will be older when the baby would be born and I’m not getting any younger

I found dc3 slotted in very easily.

I was completed knocked sideways going from 0 - 1. Probably part of that was personality / not sleeping but part of it was how my organised life was blown away.
I found 2 - 3 a lot less stressful, and 2 - 3 easiest of all.

I think it was (as above) partly to do with personalities, but by number 3, I was far more relaxed, and worried and fretted less about things. By then I was also aware that most things were 'just a phase' and got less worried about them. I was more relaxed, knowing that each baby is an individual and does things in their own time.

Great choice for us. Our eldest had just turned 5 when dc3 was born.
