How to deal with 8 year old DD moods

Just that. I don’t know if it’s hormones but it is so draining. Moods all the time and I don’t know whether to ignore/ be stern or just be nice. It is starting to really get to me. When she goes in a mood it is usually for long periods of time and there are consequences. My DH has less patience with her than I do as he grew up with a very grumpy/ moody sister.

Same. Don’t know what to do. I’ve started saying ‘I haven’t done anything wrong, don’t talk to me
like that.’ Or words to that effect, I was sick of trying to cheer her up. It’s crazy how moody she has gotten over the last 3 months. I keep thinking she’s going to start her period or something because it’s so extreme. She falls out with me for everything, everything offends her, a small bump or knock renders her in ‘agony’ it’s a horrible stage. Solidarity.
